Auditions to star in a television commercial will be held during the Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook-off on Victorian Square.

The commercial will be for Clark Pest Control, and the audition booth will be set up from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 5-6 near the movie theater fountain and kids' area.

Participants will each create their own commercial in front of a green screen that will later appear as a backdrop of a residential home or outdoor scene. Props will be provided, but contestants can get creative and ad-lib a 30-second spot, ending with the slogan, "Clark, We Need You!"

Once all of the auditions in Reno have been completed, a panel of judges will review the tapes and select one regional finalist.

Auditions have already been held on the central coast in California, and more will be held in the Sacramento area. A finalist will be selected from each of those auditions as well.

Once all of the auditions are completed, judges will review the three finalists' auditions and select the grand-prize winner, who will star in a new commercial.

Audition for the Chance to Star in a Clark Pest Control Television Commercial 

Lodi, Calif. (August 17, 2009) - Ever dream of seeing your face on the small screen?  Now is your chance!  Clark Pest Control is holding open auditions for the chance to star in an upcoming television commercial.  Participants will each create their own commercial in front of a green screen that will later appear as a backdrop of a residential home or outdoor scene.  Props will be provided, but contestants can use their own creativity to ad-lib a 30-second spot ending with the widely recognized "Clark We Need You!" call for help. 

The auditions to star in a Clark Pest Control commercial will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 5 and Sunday, September 6 during the Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook-Off.  The Rib-Cook Off takes place on Victorian Square at 1100 Nugget Avenue in Sparks.  The Clark Pest Control booth will be set-up just adjacent to the kids' area.
